January was an unseasonably warm month.  I believe this past month was the first time I've ever had a really great outdoor party in the month of January.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, especially everyone who attended the Christmas parties, birthday parties, charitable events, and even the model talent search that I've had the pleasure of being a part of in the last month.  And I thank everyone who's let us be a part of your wedding, business event, anniversary, birthday, and every other event we've been a part of during 2011.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.  The month of December is always a busy one.  We'll start the month with something special.  Sunday, December 4th is the Toy Hill Bike Run.  This is the third year JT Music has participated in the run.  Sunday at 11:30, be at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church just down Doyle Springs Road from Roddy's Cycle Shop.  There will be free chili for bikers participating, lots of music, and a message by the fire.  The run starts about 2.

Wow.  It's really hard to believe it's November already.  Not too far away from Christmas parties.  It was a great October, saw some great costumes over the weekend. 
If you book your gig with JT Music, you'll get a password to our client area.  There are a couple new things you can do.  When trying to think of your favorite songs, you can click on top songs from different categories, and listen to part of the song.  This should really help you let us know your favorite songs before your event.  Also don't forget to like us on Facebook and on Twitter.

It's not September yet, but as busy as things have been I thought I'd write while I have the chance.  School is back in full swing and everything seems to be going well.  Back to school dances have been big, and I can tell you the most popular song at the school dances this year already is 'Wobble' by V.I.C.  If you haven't gotten in on this dance yet, do a youtube search for someone line dancing to it, you'll learn it quickly and be ready for your school dance.
A lot of birthdays and class reunions are going on this time of year too.  Be sure and book our DJ services, and book early.  It's not too early to start thinking about that Christmas party.  And as of this moment, you can still book New Year's Eve.  That's always a huge night for parties and there are always people looking for a DJ at the last minute...so do it now and don't worry about it in December.

These summer months in Arkansas can be way to hot....and it sure is way to hot now.  A lot of weddings happened in July.  (Only one that I was involved with was outside, and the reception was inside so everything was great)  Now it's already time to start thinking about back to school.  A lot of school events will be going on in the next couple months.  If your school needs a dj for a back to school dance or any other event, be sure and get in touch with us.  A lot of reunions happen this time of the year too.  If your class is planning a reunion, get in touch with us and book a dj.  If we make it through this month, then we have nice fall weather to look forward to, so stay

Happy Fourth of July weekend!  It's hot outside so be careful.  Enjoy the fireworks, food, water, vacations, etc.  We got through a busy month for weddings...we still have some weddings going on in July, along with some other events that people have wisely chosen to have indoors.

Enjoy the month of July but make sure your air conditioner is in good shape, you'll need it. 

May was a really busy month and now we hit June and it looks like the hot weather is here to stay.  June is a big month for weddings.  If you have a wedding coming up any time then be sure and book our services.  When you decide to book us as your dj, we give you a password to get to our client area on the website.  From the client area you can fill out a worksheet that tells us everything from what you want your first dance to be to how you want your dj dressed.  Normally we do a tux for a wedding, but if you have a really casual affair planned we won't do that.  If you fill that worksheet out, then it makes it really easy.  At the client area on the website, you can also request music, pay for the deposit or the entire event using Paypal, and check out our party store.  If you're having a party where you want everyone to get involved in picking out the music, I can set it up to where you have one log in, guests have another, and they get so many requests before the event.

The weather really has been horrible lately.  I hope everyone affected by the tornados is all right.  Lots of destruction in Arkansas and all over the south.  And now the flooding is crazy.  Hopefully the month of May will bring us much better weather.  May is always one of the busiest months of the year.  School is winding down for the year but if your school does do any events during the summer, be sure and book us to DJ.
